Prince Harry Says Archie And Lilibet Are 'Growing Like Weeds'
Harry: Archie And Lilibet 'Growing Like Weeds'

Prince Harry made a rare public comment about his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, during a solo appearance at the TIME100 Sports Gala in New York City on Thursday. The Duke of Sussex, 41, told fellow guests that his children are 'growing like weeds,' according to an insider who spoke to Page Six.

Family Reunion in the UK

Harry shares seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet with Meghan Markle. The family recently returned from a trip to the United Kingdom, where they visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on July 10. It was the first time the King had seen his youngest grandchildren since 2022.

During the visit, the Sussexes stayed with Harry's uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, at Althorp. A friend close to the couple told HELLO! magazine that Archie and Lilibet were 'excited' to see King Charles, though they view him simply as their grandfather, not as the monarch. The friend added, 'The truth is they don't really have any concept about who they [the Royal Family] are.'

Harry's Update on King Charles

At the same gala, Harry was overheard telling guests that his father, King Charles, is 'doing great.' This comment comes two years after the 77-year-old monarch disclosed he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer. The King, who is a doting grandfather to Prince William's children, had not seen Archie and Lilibet since 2022.

The Sussexes are now said to be 'happy' to be back in the US. Harry and Meghan have been praised for keeping their children away from the royal spotlight, with the friend noting, 'They are very good at keeping them away from it all so they live as normal little kids.'
