Harry and Meghan dealt humiliating blow after ITV poll

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dealt a significant blow after making their first joint public appearance together since returning to the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Nottingham this week, where they were met with cheers and shouts from waiting crowds. The pair visited youth charity Epic Partners, took part in a cooking class at food poverty organisation Himmah, and visited the Community Recording Studio charity.

However, according to ITV viewers, their latest appearance has not paid off. Loose Women viewers were polled on whether they missed the royal pair, with the official X account tweeting: “Prince Harry and Meghan received a warm welcome in Nottingham yesterday, greeted by crowds of well-wishers with flowers and cards.

Poll Results Show Most Viewers Do Not Miss the Sussexes

“Some papers have suggested Britain has been a little dull without her. So we want to know – have you missed Harry and Meghan?” Out of 164 votes, 80.5% voted no, while only 19.5% voted yes.

Viewers were inclined to agree in the comments section, with one fuming: “They admitted they hated the job when they had it and played victim, so no they have not been missed!” Another said: “How on earth can you miss someone you don’t know, who is not in your life and you spend no time with?”

Mixed Reactions From Viewers

A third posted: “I’ve seen bigger crowds in my Tesco local.” However, other viewers disagreed with the general result, as one said: “Loved seeing all the photos and videos of Harry and Meghan and the cheers, the ‘we love you’s, the flowers and gifts.” Someone else said: “They are more real than the rest of the Royal Family!”

It comes after Piers Morgan issued a four-word reaction to the Sussexes, branding their Nottingham trip a “pathetic royal tribute act”. He tweeted: “The Sussex grifters doing their pathetic royal tribute act yesterday, deliberately stealing media attention from the King & Queen's visit to Wales where they met Aberfan survivors, is contemptible. “How dare they just waltz back here to do even more damage to the Royal Family?”
