Hamilton on bonding with Kardashian's kids and dog Halo

Lewis Hamilton has shared how he is bonding with girlfriend Kim Kardashian's four children, revealing he bought them a dog named Halo this year. Speaking on a panel ahead of the F1 Grand Prix in Texas, the racing driver said he enjoys playing with North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, whom Kardashian shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

Hamilton, who has been dating Kardashian since earlier this year, said: "My girlfriend's kids, I love spending time with them. She's got four, so I'm getting to play with these kids." He added: "I got them a dog this year, so little Halo is a new member of that family."

Relationship timeline

The couple were first linked romantically eight months ago after spending a weekend in the Cotswolds. They made their relationship official in April, and before the British Grand Prix, Hamilton said Kardashian had made him a "happier man".

Over the summer, Kardashian joined Hamilton on a family holiday at a lake, sharing a selfie of herself, Hamilton and her daughter Chicago. She later posted more photos of the couple together in a car and in a hotel room.

Kardashian's reflections

When her reality series The Kardashians returned earlier this month, Kardashian was coy about her dating life but told cameras: "Let's just say that every single box on my manifest list was checked. Isn't that crazy? Every single one. 55. To just look up one day and be like, 'Wait, let me check the manifest list,' and be like, 'Yes! Yes! Yes!' It's a crazy feeling."

Kardashian, who was married to West from 2014 to 2021, had previously been linked to Pete Davidson. She told The Times: "I wanted to completely heal and just work on myself. I wasn't ready to open up. I really wasn't even thinking about it…The universe works in your favor when you just allow it to."

Hamilton's past relationships

Hamilton dated Nicole Scherzinger from 2007 to 2015. He previously told RTBF that his career had affected his relationships, saying: "I look at the other [F1] drivers and I wonder how they're doing it. Some are having kids, some married, most of them have girlfriends. I did that when I was in my 20s. But I took a decision to really maximize my time that I have here because it's not as long as you think and it's limited. I don't want to look back and be like, 'If I just gave a little bit more here, I didn't sacrifice my time because I was committed elsewhere.'"
