GMB stars stun at Pride of Britain Awards 2026

The stars of Good Morning Britain were out in force for the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards tonight. Ranvir Singh, Charlotte Hawkins, Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway all struck a pose on the red carpet at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London.

A Night for Unsung Heroes

The annual event, which returned for its 27th instalment tonight, saw some of the biggest names in entertainment celebrate the nation's unsung heroes. Former Countdown icon Carol Vorderman was once again at the helm of the event, with Diversity star Ashley Banjo returning as her co-host. But while the celebrity guests are often the main attraction at glitzy events, tonight was completely different.

Glamour on the Red Carpet

Posing up a storm on the red carpet, Susanna, 55, smiled as she rocked a bold red dress featuring floral patterns. The broadcaster's gown certainly caught onlookers' attention, with a daring split down her thigh. Meanwhile, Kate, 59, looked sensational in a floor-length golden gown decorated with thousands of sequins, which sparkled under the glaring camera lights.

Charlotte, 51, exuded glamour in a champagne-coloured halter-neck dress that was cinched at the waist. The broadcaster wore her hair in a classy up-do, as she flashed a smile towards the cameras. Ranvir, 49, chose a classy black number with netted detailing over her chest, completing her look with a pair of striking golden earrings, and joined her co-stars for a picture.

Editor Praises Winners and Hosts

Taking to the stage, Daily Mirror Editor in Chief Chloe Hubbard praised tonight's winners, declaring: "We are honoured that they are here with us sharing their remarkable stories." Thanking P&O Cruises and ITV for their ongoing partnership, Hubbard also had some warm words for tonight's hosts, stating: "It simply wouldn't be Pride of Britain with our brilliant hosts Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo."

Taking a moment to recognise the "huge undertaking" that went into this event, Hubbard reflected on the efforts Mirror staff have poured into making Pride of Britain 2026 a memorable evening. She said: "Our journalists really get to know the people you will meet tonight." Most importantly, Hubbard commended the "courage, compassion, sacrifice and strength" of this year's winners, reflecting: "Many of those you'll meet tonight do not seek the limelight. They are ordinary people."

She went on to describe how humble some winners had been when their bravery was recognised, some modestly arguing, "Surely there must be someone better than me." Hubbard added: "I hope in turn they inspire all of us to do a bit better." In a world full of negativity, the Mirror's Pride of Britain is a "celebration of our country," says Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who adds: "Every year, this special moment in the national calendar reminds us that the people of this country haven't changed. They are still as great as they always were."
