Gary Barlow plays padel with famous friends after new look

Gary Barlow enjoyed a game of padel with his famous friends just days after he was seen sporting a new look without his usual beard.

The Take That star recently wrapped up the band's Circus stadium tour, which was performed to over 700,000 people. Since the tour ended, the 55-year-old was spotted in Notting Hill looking very different, dressed head to toe in black and wearing a baseball cap as he met with wine expert and influencer Tom Gilbey for a glass of wine.

Padel game with famous friends

Barlow has been focused on his fitness since the tour concluded. He played padel with friends including Michael McIntyre, Jason Manford, and his friend Stu.

Writing about the game, Jason shared: "Had a brilliant game of padel with @officialgarybarlow his mate Stu & @michaelmcintyre at @padelsocialclub. There was a ‘million Lob songs’ and Gary’s got a ‘Backhand for Good’ but against Michael’s ‘Send to Wall’ shot, it ended up in a ‘Man Drawer’."

He added: "That's the best I’ve got! Puns are hard! Go on then, your turn, today’s joke challenge… Entertainers & Racquet sports. Can be their name, or their work. Winner wins nowt but pride."

Circus tour comes to an end

Following the Circus tour, Barlow said the show would not return again despite its success. However, he reassured fans another tour would take its place when they next plan their live dates.

He wrote: "And another tour comes to a close. Somehow, this one feels a little different. With the other tours, it’s always comforting to know there will almost definitely be a next time. But I’m pretty sure this tour won’t return."

"I was 38 when we originally did this show, and I have to say it’s been a whole other challenge doing it as a 55-year-old. I just can’t see a way I could physically do this show again."

"So, it’s with an extremely heavy heart that I leave The Circus in my past. I got to run away with The Circus twice. Now I’m running towards our next exciting, brand new show."
