Emily Atack has delighted fans by sharing rare photographs of her baby son Barney and boyfriend Alistair Garner during a family holiday in Cornwall. The 35-year-old actress, who welcomed Barney in June last year, usually keeps her family life private but offered a glimpse of their trip to Mevagissey.
One image shows Emily carrying Barney in a sling while enjoying the beach view, with the toddler dressed in a striped outfit, beige cap, and black sandals. Another snap captures Alistair holding Barney on the beach, the baby appearing excited as he faces the sea. A further photo shows Barney sitting in his buggy on the cobbled beach, wearing a striped bucket hat, next to a picnic setup.
Emily captioned the Instagram post: 'Last minute trip to magical Mevagissey. Can’t quite explain how perfect it was. Barney loves pasties.' Fans responded warmly, with comments such as 'That pasty looks fabulous! Welcome to Cornwall' and 'Cherish the moments.'
The actress, known for her role in Rivals, began dating Alistair in 2023, though they have known each other for years. In a November interview with The Times, she spoke about feeling 'lonely' before finding love with him, adding: 'I used to pray to God that I would end up with somebody who made me feel safe, and I'm safe with Al now.' She also recalled a poignant moment after his father's death, when they held each other for 20 minutes and 'just knew' their love was real.
