Denise Welch has revealed that her son, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, will marry his fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel in July. The 68-year-old Loose Women star shared the news on the Tom Hirschsprung podcast, saying: "Matty gets married in July, which we're very excited about."
Healy, 37, and Bechtel, 28, announced their engagement in June 2024, with Bechtel showing off a striking black ring. Welch expressed her joy on Loose Women shortly after, describing Bechtel as "everything I would want in a daughter-in-law."
The couple were first seen together in September 2023, nine months before their engagement. Welch also spoke proudly of her younger son Louis, who is currently starring in the West End production of Stranger Things On Stage.
