David Beckham's beach road trip with daughter Harper

David Beckham has been seen heading off to spend quality time with his daughter, Harper, as his wife, Victoria, gave an insight into what the teenager is like away from the spotlight.

Harper is the youngest child - and only daughter - of the celebrity couple, dubbed 'Posh and Becks'. The Beckhams, who started dating in 1997 after meeting at a charity football match, before later marrying in 1999, have four children – sons, Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, as well as Harper.

Brooklyn Feud Continues

However, over the past year, they have faced a public falling out with their eldest son, Brooklyn, who in January shared a statement on social media accusing his parents of trying to "control" him and also "ruin his relationship" with his wife, Nicola Peltz. He also alleged that his family had "disrespected" his wife.

In June, the feud intensified, with representatives for Brooklyn publicly accusing his family of orchestrating a media stunt involving his sister. The confrontation unfolded shortly after David was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Road Trip to the Beach

Despite their estrangement from Brooklyn, the rest of the Beckhams have carried on as normal in public and on Thursday (October 20) evening, David took to Instagram to share how he and Harper had headed on a little escape. He posted a sweet picture of the 15-year-old planting a kiss on his cheek as they headed to the beach.

"Road trip with Daddy [sun emoji] @harperbeckham," he captioned the post to his 87.6 million followers, before the comments quickly came flooding in, with many branding the update 'so sweet'.

School Make-Up Ban Revealed

It comes after Victoria shared how Harper had begged her to ring her school and persuade them to let her wear make-up. The 52-year-old fashion designer shared how the teen was horrified when makeup was banned from school, leaving her to question why her teachers don't want her to "look [her] best".

During an appearance on a Today show segment, Commuter Beauty, Victoria was asked by journalist Zanna Roberts Rassi how she stopped Harper wearing make-up so young. "She does it quite naturally. She's really good at applying make-up," the former Spice Girl said.

"Quite recently she said, 'They've told me that I'm not allowed to wear make-up for school.' She said, 'Why don't they want me to look my best?' She's like, 'Mummy, can't you call the school?' I'm like, 'I can't Harper!'", Victoria added.
