Former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn has dazzled fans with a glamorous new look, around seven years after her character was killed off the ITV soap. The 33-year-old, best known for playing Sinead Tinker between 2013 and 2019, has been sharing a series of striking outfits on Instagram that look a world away from her former role.
Glam Look Sparks Fan Reaction
In her latest snaps, McGlynn posed in a black jacket, a short leather skirt and a t-shirt, with her hair pulled back, sunglasses on her head and smoky eye make-up. The outfit drew widespread praise from followers, with comments including "So hot," "You look amazing" and "Absolutely stunning shot, you're glowing! Keep shining, sweetheart!"
Other admirers wrote "You look really gorgeous," "Breathtakingly beautiful" and "Katie you look stunning. Wow." Several fans also responded with fire and heart-eye emojis to show their approval of her revamped style.
Career Beyond the Cobbles
McGlynn, who also works as a DJ, has had a varied television career. Alongside her role as Sinead, she played Jodie "Scout" Allen in Waterloo Road from 2011 to 2013 and Becky Quentin in Hollyoaks from 2021 to 2022. In 2021, she took part in the nineteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Her character Sinead died following a battle with terminal cervical cancer, and McGlynn's new look has left many fans remarking on how different she appears from her former on-screen persona.
