Coleen Nolan calls Vegas wedding rumours 'fake news'

Coleen Nolan has dismissed speculation that she is preparing to marry her boyfriend Ryan Brockbank in Las Vegas, describing the reports as "absolute fake news". The Loose Women star appeared on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain (November 3) to address the rumours directly.

Rumours dismissed on Good Morning Britain

When asked by Susanna Reid whether she was heading to Vegas, Nolan replied: "No, I'm not getting married in Vegas!" She then settled the matter with a decisive five-word statement, confirming: "That is absolute fake news."

Nolan went public with her relationship with Brockbank in August, sharing a photograph of the pair together. The couple have since had matching tattoos, with Nolan revealing body art reading 'Until the end' on her right arm during an appearance on Loose Women. She also sports an 'R' with a love heart on her chest to represent his first initial.

Relationship details revealed

Opening up about her romance, Nolan revealed that Brockbank had spotted her on an episode of Celebs Go Dating and contacted her through direct messages. She told Susanna and Ed that their exchange continued and the pair are now in a committed relationship.

Nolan added: "All this about, 'Oh, their friends are worried and they're going off to Vegas' is rubbish. We are very, very, very much together and very much in love." She also said: "I wasn't expecting it; I'd given up on it. After Celebs Go Dating I thought, 'I'm not doing dating apps; if fate is out there, then if it's meant to be, it will be', and there he was."

Family approval confirmed

When Ed asked whether her family had given their blessing to her new partner, Nolan confirmed they had. She added: "They all get on really well with him, which is massive for me that they like him. He's 14 years younger, not 20!"

Discussing her relationship previously, Nolan said: "I think what's been lovely, I'm saying too much now, it's taking me 61 [years], and let's be honest, I've had a few relationships and a few relationships. I feel like I've gone through all of that to get where I am today, and they've sent me the person that I need!" Good Morning Britain continues weekdays on ITV from 6am.
