Lisa Hogan has issued an emotional update from Diddly Squat Farm, days after revealing the death of one of her puppies. Last week, Jeremy Clarkson announced that one of the 11 puppies born to his dog Arya had died.
On Sunday, the 51-year-old Irish model took to Instagram to reassure fans that the remaining puppies are thriving. Sharing a clip of Arya with her litter, Hogan said: 'We have 11, or 12, but one died. But Arya is being amazing. She’s coming out for walks with her sister which is good, otherwise she just wants to be with her little offspring.'
Hogan also revealed that one puppy, the runt of the litter, requires hand-feeding. 'I’ve been handfeeding this one because she’s the lightest, but I’ve just weighed them all and they’ve all put on a bit of weight, and some of them have doubled,' she explained. She described Arya as 'a very attentive mum' and concluded: 'All is good in Puppyville.'
The update comes after Clarkson faced a series of setbacks. His livestock tested positive for bovine tuberculosis, leading to a farm lockdown. Speaking to Times Radio, he said: 'It’s awful... we’re now locked down and it’s just dreadful.' He added that the farm will remain closed for at least two months, though the farm shop is unaffected.
Additionally, Kaleb Cooper reported that criminals had stolen farm equipment, including a tractor and a post knocker.
