Nicola Peltz has ignited fresh controversy in the ongoing rift with her in-laws, the Beckhams, by sharing intimate Christmas photos that pointedly exclude husband Brooklyn's famous family. The images, posted on Boxing Day 2025, are seen as a calculated move that will likely deepen the heartache for Victoria and David Beckham.
A Festive Post Fuels the Fire
The 30-year-old actress and influencer posted a series of festive pictures to her Instagram account. The photos showed Brooklyn, 26, smiling and embracing Nicola's parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, presenting an image of a close-knit holiday with his wife's 'tribe'. Peltz captioned the gallery: "we wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness."
However, the well-wishes did little to placate followers, who were quick to interpret the post as a deliberate snub. The absence of any mention or imagery related to the Beckhams was glaring, coming just days after it was revealed Brooklyn had blocked his entire immediate family on Instagram, including his parents and 14-year-old sister Harper.
Social Media Backlash and Defence
The comment section swiftly became a battleground. Many users criticised Nicola, accusing her of alienating Brooklyn from his family. One direct comment to Brooklyn read: "Brooklyn you can get lots of wifes but only one mum… you have to member that." Another asked Peltz pointedly, "Why don’t you show love to the Beckham family?!" Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton added a succinct: "Everyone EXCEPT your in-laws!"
Some commentators offered relationship advice, with one writing: "If your wife was truly supportive of you; she would never allow you to alienate your family. Life is way to short to hold onto grudges." Others predicted future karma for Nicola when she has children of her own.
Not all feedback was negative, however. A number of followers defended the couple's right to privacy. One supporter wrote: "Some of these comments are wild... leave the poor guy alone, none of us know whats [sic] going on and its none of our business either." Another simply called the photos "Beautiful" and apologised for the "inappropriate and judgmental" remarks.
A Pattern of Perceived Provocations
This festive post is the latest in a series of actions interpreted as digs at the Beckham dynasty. On Christmas Eve, Brooklyn posted a photo of himself holding hands with Nicola, declaring her his 'Everything'—a caption viewed by many as another slight against his estranged parents.
Further fuelling the narrative, Brooklyn spent Christmas Day in Los Angeles playing tennis with American pro Reilly Opelka and Nicola's brother, Bradley Peltz, rather than returning to the UK. He also shared a TikTok video on his Cloud23 hot sauce account featuring the Lady Gaga lyric 'sorry I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy', which he emphasised in bold text, adding to the perception of a deliberate shutdown of communication with his family.
The situation appears to have left Victoria and David Beckham devastated, grieving the loss of their formerly close bond with their first-born son. With the family blocked on social media, they would have had to learn of their son's Christmas activities through public posts or media reports, twisting the knife further in a very public and painful family schism.
