Dolly Parton Jokes About Wanting Swift-Kelce Firstborn After $2M Donation

Dolly Parton has jokingly asked Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce if she can have their firstborn child after the couple donated $2 million to her Imagination Library. The 80-year-old country music legend shared a video on Instagram on Friday afternoon thanking the couple for their generous contribution.

Dolly Parton's Playful Request

In the video, Parton said: "Taylor and Travis - it's Dolly, and I was just told that you two are making a donation $2 million to my Imagination Library. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am overjoyed and blown away. It's evident that you two have made giving back a key part of your life, so, hey, when you have your firstborn, can I have it? That is gonna be one special baby!"

Through the Imagination Library, Parton provides free books to millions of children before they begin school. She added: "The mission of the Dollywood Foundation is to dream more, care more, learn more and be more. Thank you again for that very generous gift, and we'll continue that mission, even in bigger ways thanks to your donation, and know that [sings] I Will Always Love You!"

Swift and Kelce's Wedding Plans

The video comes on the same day Swift and Kelce are reportedly tying the knot in a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The couple reserved the venue for a multi-day celebration spanning the Fourth of July holiday weekend, with the main ceremony accommodating approximately 1,000 to 1,200 attendees and reportedly continuing until 4 a.m. on July 4.

However, a source told Page Six that the couple may have already legally married in a smaller, private ceremony. "They are already married," the source insisted, according to the Mirror US. The small ceremony is thought to have potentially taken place in Tennessee, where Swift made her home at age 14.

Swift's Hints About Starting a Family

Taylor Swift is not currently thought to be pregnant, but she dropped hints towards the end of last year about wanting to start a family with Travis Kelce. On her album The Life of a Showgirl, in the track "Wi$h List," she sings: "I just want you. Have a couple kids, got the whole block looking like you. We tell the world to leave us the f*** alone, and they do." The song continues: "Got me dreaming about a driveway with a basketball hoop. Boss up, settle down, got a wish list. I just want you."

The couple revealed their engagement in August 2025 and have remained secretive about the details. Madison Square Garden was selected primarily for its exceptional security and privacy benefits, including no windows for photographers and underground VIP access points.
