Party lovers have the chance to witness one of the rarest sights on Earth while dancing on what is being dubbed the world's most exclusive boat party. Ibiza boat party legends Pukka Up are giving one lucky winner and a friend the chance to bag two tickets for ECLIPSE: The Day the Sun Sets Twice, a one-off event celebrating the island's first total solar eclipse since 1905.
Only 200 Guests On Board
Only 200 guests will be allowed on board the three-hour voyage, which sets sail from San Antonio on 12 August before heading out towards the legendary Es Vedrà for an uninterrupted view of the celestial spectacle.
As the sun hangs just above the horizon at 8.33pm, the moon will slowly swallow it whole and plunge Ibiza into eerie darkness for one minute and five seconds before daylight explodes back with the spectacular "diamond ring" effect.
Music Falls Silent For The Eclipse
During the moment the music will fall completely silent to allow partygoers to soak up the once-in-a-lifetime event before the DJs crank the tunes back up for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration.
Pukka Up owner Josh Makinson said: "The last time Ibiza saw a total eclipse was in 1905, so you won't get a more exclusive experience than being one of the 200 lucky guests on our boat."
A Once-In-A-Lifetime Experience
Ibiza is set to witness its first total eclipse in over a century. "They'll witness an uninterrupted view of nature's most magical spectacle set to the perfect DJ soundtrack, and enjoy a party the likes of which won't be seen again in our lifetimes," Makinson added.
