Wales have unveiled their new home and away kits for the upcoming season, with the launch taking place at the National Eisteddfod. The kits, designed by Macron, feature a red home jersey inspired by the Welsh Dragon, with a repeated dragon pattern across the shoulders and sleeves.
Kit details
After wearing red shorts and white socks last season, Steve Tandy's side will revert to white shorts and red socks with their home jersey. The women's team will continue to wear red shorts and white socks.
The away kit is a white jersey with green details, taking inspiration from Welsh slate, with a textured slate graphic across the jersey and shorts.
Design philosophy
The Welsh Rugby Union said that "both kits have been designed around a single idea, creating shirts that carry Wales wherever they are worn, whether on the pitch, in the stands at Principality Stadium or by supporters across the world".
The launch also marks a change in approach, with players invited to wear casual clothing of their own choosing alongside the jersey, reflecting how fans will wear the new shirt on matchdays.

Availability and pricing
Both jerseys are available to buy from August 6 from the Welsh Rugby Store in Cardiff, online at store.wru.co.uk, and through selected retailers. Prices range from £68 for junior replica jerseys to £85 for the senior replica. A senior authentic professional jersey will cost £118.
