As a fan of natural, cruelty-free and vegan beauty products, Mahoney regularly uses Tropic items for skincare and bath products. When the brand launched its advent calendar again, she decided to try it. This year's calendar, '24 Days Of Pure Imagination', is described by Tropic as its "most luxurious calendar yet".
The calendar features a 24-day countdown with 28 freshly made products, presented in a cream and gold box with botanical-style illustrations and a Pâtisserie theme. It includes nine full-size products, six mini items, 12 exclusive and festive-themed products, and one secret product.
Key Products and Benefits
Among the products included are Rainforest Dew Hydration Serum, Sun Day Dewy Facial SPF 50, and Morning Mist Soothing Toning Essence. The Rainforest Dew Hydration Serum is a hyaluronic-acid based serum suitable for all skin types, leaving skin soft and dewy. Sun Day Dewy Facial SPF 50 offers broadspectrum UVA and UVB protection, is lightweight and invisible on all skin tones, and doubles as a makeup primer.
Mahoney noted that Morning Mist, a spray-on toner, changed her view on toners, as she previously disliked using cotton pads. The calendar's mix of daily and luxe items means she won't need to restock her beauty products soon, making it a good way to stock up for fans of the brand.

However, this year's calendar is pricier than previous ones. It costs £299, compared to last year's £149. For cheaper alternatives, the Lush Advent Calendar is available for £210, and the LookFantastic Beauty Advent Calendar costs £120, with 25 products worth £665 according to LookFantastic.
