Theatre Royal panto stars reveal Jack and the Beanstalk costumes

The cast of the Newcastle Theatre Royal's 2026 pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk has reunited for a costume photo-call, offering a first glimpse of this year's festive production.

Cast reunites for photo-call

Panto regulars Clive Webb, Danny Adams, Joe McElderry and fellow cast members gathered at the theatre to pose in their elaborate outfits for promotional pictures. The stars were in high spirits as they showcased the costumes for the upcoming show.

Roles revealed

Danny Adams will play Jack in the pantomime, which is written, directed and produced by Michael Harrison. Clive Webb takes on the role of Farmer Trott, while Chris Hayward plays Dame Trott. Joe McElderry, wearing a large green costume, will portray the Spirit of the Beans.

Wayne Smith and Mick Potts, Danny's brother and fellow CBBC star, will play Pat the Cow and evil Fleshcreep respectively. West End leading lady Rachel Stanley returns as The Queen, and Oonagh Cox is Princess Jill.

Performance dates

Jack and the Beanstalk will run at the Theatre Royal from November 24 until January 17.
