Sadie Sink denies knowing X-Men Cyclops casting

Sadie Sink, known for her roles in Stranger Things and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has said she doesn't know who will play Cyclops in the upcoming X-Men reboot. The actress, who portrays Jean Grey in the Marvel film, addressed rumors that Heartstopper star Kit Connor might join the cast.

Rumors and official announcements

While fans speculate about Connor's potential role as Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops, Sink told Vanity Fair: "Did he? There's always the rumors, and I just never know what's official." She added that she learns about casting through director Jake Schreier, saying: "So, I'm finding out through Jake."

Sink also expressed excitement about the project, noting: "I think the timing of it is so exciting, and the way they planned it out is really clever just with introducing one of the mutants, a very important mutant through Spider-Man. I think a great cast is coming together, and I think people are going to be really excited about it when it's all announced."
