Sabrina Carpenter is reportedly in talks to play her own headline show at Wembley Stadium next summer, in a move that would see her smash records at the London venue.
Rising star
After ascending her Disney Channel star label, Carpenter, 27, has become a chart-topping pop star, with huge hit songs like "Espresso" and "Manchild".
Reports claim that the singer is eyeing up a massive headline show in London as part of her 2027 summer tour.
In discussions
According to The Sun, Carpenter, who headlined Coachella this spring, is currently "in discussions" to perform at the venue before the end of August.
An insider told the publication: "Sabrina has exploded in the past couple of years – her team can’t believe how quickly things have skyrocketed. Fans have been desperate for her to tour ever since she released her seventh album, Man’s Best Friend, last year. She’s now in discussions over a huge tour next summer with dates across the UK, including at Wembley."
The Standard has contacted Carpenter's representatives for comment.
Record-breaking potential
Were this to happen, Carpenter will be 28 years and three months at the time, making her Wembley Stadium's youngest ever female headliner.
She'll pip Rihanna to the post by a couple of months, after the "Umbrella" singer played the venue aged 28 years and four months in 2016. Taylor Swift, meanwhile, was 28 years and six months when she first played the stadium in 2018.
Not that the "Love Story" singer will begrudge her; Carpenter supported Swift on her world-dominating Eras tour in 2024, and attended her wedding in July.
Recent performances
The "Bed Chem" singer last played in London in March 2025 as part of her Short n' Sweet Tour, when she appeared on the stage in a bath towel that opened up to reveal a sparkling Union Jack and matching blue bodysuit.
Earlier this spring, Carpenter played a headline set at California arts festival Coachella, when she surprised fans by bringing out Madonna.
Madonna, 67, joined Carpenter on stage, where the pair sung their duet "Bring Your Love" from her album Confessions II, alongside the pop legend's hits "Vogue" and "Like A Prayer".
