Loose Women host Ruth Langsford congratulated her co-star Lisa Riley on receiving an MBE in the King's birthday honours during Monday's live show. The Emmerdale actress was recognized for her extensive services to drama and charity.

Opening the programme, Ruth said: "After first appearing in Emmerdale as a fresh-faced Mandy Dingle over 30 years ago, our fabulous Lisa has been recognised for her extensive services to drama and charity in this year's King's birthday honours list," prompting applause from the studio.
Lisa's Reaction
Lisa shared her disbelief: "I found out late February. I opened a posh envelope with my name on it from the King, and I thought it was a wind up!" She expressed gratitude for being recognized for both drama and charity work.
Lisa highlighted her role in BBC's Three Girls as a career standout and discussed her plans for the ceremony, hoping to receive the honour from Prince William. "I'm a Dingle as well!" she joked.
