The 27th Pride of Britain Awards return tonight, with famous faces gathering at Grosvenor House in London to celebrate the nation's unsung heroes. Carol Vorderman and Diversity's Ashley Banjo are once again at the helm of the ceremony, which honours extraordinary winners representing the very best of humanity in Britain.
Red Carpet Arrivals and Hosts
Red carpet hosts Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks kicked off proceedings at 5pm, before Carol returns to present the main ceremony alongside co-host Ashley. GK Barry joined them on the carpet, getting up close and personal with this year's winners and a glittering array of celebrities as they made their grand entrances.
TV star and campaigner Narinder Kaur looked sensational as she walked the red carpet, opting for a sleek red dress embellished with thousands of sequins. TikTok creator GK Barry braved the cold in a thigh-length corset-style dress with a glowing train.
Celebrity Attendees and Honourees
Just days after bravely opening up about suffering a miscarriage, TV star Charlotte Crosby attended in a floor-length pink dress featuring detailed shoulder pads. Original YouTube star and best-selling author Louise Pentland wrapped up against the October chills in a figure-hugging red dress with mystical flowing arm panels.
Tonight, Andrew Franks will be honoured following his heroic actions during the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue attack on October 2 last year. The red carpet will also see Angela Rippon, Amy Dowden, Dame Arlene Phillips, Cat Deeley, Celia Imrie, Ellie Goldstein, Jerry Hall, Jess Phillips MP, Jack Grealish, James Farrar, Mark Austin, and Delta Goodrem in attendance.
A Celebration of the Country
Prime Minister Andy Burnham described the Mirror's Pride of Britain as a "celebration of our country," adding: "Every year, this special moment in the national calendar reminds us that the people of this country haven't changed. They are still as great as they always were."
