Olivia Attwood has unfollowed Bradley Dack's mother on social media, marking her final act to sever all connections with his family following their split earlier this year.
The former Love Island star, 35, began dating The Only Way is Essex legend Pete Wicks, 37, after her separation from the footballer. The couple called it off in January after over two years of marriage, with Olivia moving out of their Cheshire home. She later confirmed the separation was due to a breach of trust, describing the situation as "deeply painful" and "humiliating".
Final Act of Detachment
Olivia had a "niggling issue" that she needed to address before she could move on with her life - and it centred around Bradley's mum, who - like his sister - she had grown very close to during their years together. Now, she has decided she can't have any of his family on social media.
"Olivia finally decided to unfollow Brad's mum," a source told The Sun. "The unfollow feels like Olivia's final act of cutting herself off from Bradley's world completely.
"She'd already started emotionally detaching, but removing his mum feels far more symbolic because that was a relationship she genuinely valued in its own right.
"For Olivia, it's less about being petty and more about drawing a line under that entire chapter. She knows keeping those connections alive would make it harder to properly move on.
"There's a real sense of finality to it - almost like she's accepted she can't keep one foot in the family while trying to build a life away from Bradley. Olivia feels like she can finally breathe."
New Relationship with Pete Wicks
After months of speculation, Pete and Olivia confirmed their relationship as he shared a series of black-and-white photos from their July trip. He captioned the post: "I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA," and fans piled into the comments section to congratulate the pair after making things official.
The pair have known each other for nearly a decade, having met at the Specsavers Awards in London in 2017. However, they grew closer following Olivia's split from former Blackburn star Bradley, 32, at the beginning of the year.
Close pal Pete, who co-hosts KISS FM's Sunday Roast radio show with Olivia, soon became a shoulder to cry on and last week he certainly seemed to be taking her mind off her broken heart.
Future Plans
An insider has claimed that their bond has gone from strength to strength, and they could even set up a home together soon. "Olivia is completely smitten with Pete and she really wants everyone to see it," the source said.
"They've got sexual chemistry and can't keep their hands off each other. Pete is definitely helping her heal her heartbreak."
"Olivia and Pete are having a summer of love," they added. "People never thought this relationship would work out, but it's the real thing. Olivia wants it to be very public and to be seen. She's never felt happier."
