The winners for the 2026 National Television Awards have been officially announced following the latest star-studded ceremony in the capital.
This year's event took place at London's O2 on Tuesday (September 8) night, with a huge number of famous faces from all genres of TV in attendance as they celebrated another year of television.
The 2026 ceremony also marked the 31st NTAs, with the public able to vote for who they want to win in each category. There were 15 awards up for grabs, including gongs for the best talent show, authored documentary, quiz show and the relatively new award for best reality competition.
Historic Nominations and New Categories
The NTAs were celebrating their first all-female drama performance shortlist – with Gavin And Stacey star Ruth Jones competing with Ella Bruccoleri, Judy Parfitt, Sheridan Smith and Vicky McClure for the prize.
Reality documentaries starring Wythenshawe's own Tyson Fury, Jeremy Clarkson, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash were also among the shows competing for a prize. They were nominated in a new category recognising the rise of fly-on-the-wall celebrity-led shows, with At Home With The Furys, Clarkson's Farm and Stacey & Joe going head-to-head for the inaugural award.
Their competition included Fletchers' Family Farm, in which Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher turns to rural life, and the fishing programme led by comedians Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse – Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
