A life-changing jackpot of £6.8m is up for grabs in tonight's Lotto draw on August 5, 2026.
One person could win the entire sum if they match all six main numbers. Matching five main numbers plus the bonus ball secures £1,000,000, while five main numbers alone wins £1,750.
New Lotto format explained
Since June, each Lotto draw consists of two separate rounds. Players buy a £2 ticket and are automatically entered into both draws with one ticket.
In the first round, 59 balls are placed in the draw machine. Six balls plus the Bonus Ball are drawn. Matching two or more numbers wins cash.
In the second round, another set of 59 balls is used, and the same rule applies: match two or more numbers to win.
Thunderball and draw times
Tonight's Lotto draw takes place at 8pm, followed by the Thunderball at 8.15pm, where one person could win up to £500,000. Tickets must be bought by 7.30pm and cost £2.
Lotto draws happen every Wednesday and Saturday, EuroMillions on Tuesday and Friday, and Set For Life on Monday and Thursday.
