Joan Lancaster and Joan Priscilla Loftus
Joan Lancaster, born November 11th, 1930, passed away peacefully at Aintree Hospital on July 17th, 2026, aged 95, surrounded by family. She is reunited with her husband Alf and son Allan. A devoted mum and mother-in-law, her legacy continues through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, at Anfield Crematorium at 2:00 PM. Family flowers only; donations to Pancreatic Cancer UK are welcome.
Joan Priscilla Loftus passed away at The Old Garden Care Home, Hoylake, on 23rd July 2026 in her 99th year. A Requiem Mass and interment will take place at St Mary's Church, Woolton on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 at 12pm. Family flowers only; donations to Alzheimer's Society are gratefully received.
Vincent Marsden and Ann McGovern
Vincent Marsden, known as Vinny, a former docker, passed away. He was a beloved husband to Mary, devoted dad to Keith and Debs, and doting grandad to Kitty. His funeral service will be held at Holy Rosary RC Church, Aintree, on Friday August 14th 2026 at 2:00pm.
Ann McGovern passed away peacefully on 27th July 2026 aged 73 years. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday 14th August at Mayfields Woodland Burial Chapel, Eastham at 2pm. Donations may be sent to Alder Hey Children's Charity.
Lynn Joan McIntyre and John Edward Middlehurst
Lynn Joan McIntyre passed away suddenly on 15th July 2026. Her funeral service will be at Thornton Crematorium on Wednesday August 19th 2026 at 12 noon. Donations in memory of Lynn are being collected for the Alzheimer's Society.
John Edward Middlehurst, known as Poacher, passed away on Tuesday 21st July, aged 78 years. His funeral service will take place at Thornton Crematorium on Wednesday 12th August at 12:00pm, followed by a celebration of his life.
John Christopher Moran and Daniel Moran
John Christopher Moran passed away on 21st July 2026, aged 66 years. His funeral service will be at Springwood Crematorium, Rosemary Chapel on Friday 21st August at 1.30pm.
Daniel Moran passed away on 20th July 2026, aged 35 years. His funeral service will take place at St Marys Grassendale on Tuesday 18th August at 1.30pm, followed by a committal at Springwood Crematorium. Donations in favour of 'Headway' - the brain injury association are welcomed.
Irene Mary Morley and Jane Navarro
Irene Mary Morley passed away on 24th July 2026 aged 83 years. Her funeral will be at St Peter & Paul, Crosby, on Tuesday, 18th August 2026, followed by cremation at Thornton Crematorium. Donations in lieu to The Dogs Trust.
Jane Navarro, known as Jeannie, passed away on 16th July 2026 aged 70 years. A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday 19th August 2026 at St Anthony's Church, followed by a committal at Anfield Crematorium.
Angela Price and Dorothy Susan Price
Angela Price, known as Angie, passed away. Her funeral service will be held at St Faiths Church on Monday 17th August at 1:00pm, followed by a private family cremation. Donations may be sent in memory of Angie for Dementia UK.
Dorothy Susan Price passed away on 12th July 2026 aged 86 years. A service of thanksgiving will take place on Monday 10th August at Landican Crematorium Centre Chapel at 12 noon. Donations may be sent to support Elderholme Nursing Home.
Tom Richardson and Ann Elizabeth Schumann
Tom Richardson passed away peacefully on 26th July 2026, aged 78 years. His funeral service will be held at Ullet Road Unitarian Church on Tuesday 18th August, followed by a committal at Springwood Crematorium. Donations to Clatterbridge Cancer Charity are welcomed.
Ann Elizabeth Schumann, known as Peggy, passed away on 27th July 2026, aged 78 years. A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, 20th of August 2026 at St Anne's Church, followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery. Donations to Marie Curie or Dementia UK are welcomed.

Elizabeth Williams, known as Betty, is remembered with a tribute from Eileen Martin & Girls.
James George Woods, known as Jimmy, passed peacefully in hospital aged 80 years. His funeral service will take place at Thornton Crematorium on Friday 7th August 2026 at 3pm. Donations are gratefully received to The Marina Dalglish Appeal.
