Coronation Street fans are convinced a shock affair is on the cards for Eva Price. Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) made her debut back in 2011 before making her exit in 2018.
Last year though, Eva returned to the cobbles where she became the Rovers Return landlady. Eva rocked back up to Weatherfield with her new family including boyfriend Ben (Aaron McCusker) and his mother Maggie (Pauline McGlynn). They were also joined by his two sons Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike) and Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale).
Recent Drama on the Cobbles
It’s fair to say the family has had a dramatic few months, especially after they found out that Will had been groomed by teacher Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) for months. Over on the soap last week, things took a terrifying turn for Eva after she was left unconscious in the pub's cellar after Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) pushed past her.
Sam - who has been struggling with his mental health - was looking for his phone in the Rovers after it had been confiscated by dad Nick Tilsley (Ben Price). While Eva was working, a panicked Sam came across Eva and ended up running past her, knocking her down into the cellar. Instead of getting help, he stood over her lifeless body.
Eva's Hospital Recovery
After Sam made a run for it and left Eva, she was eventually discovered and was rushed to hospital due to her injuries. Eva was then seen recovering in the hospital, with questions being asked about what happened after money also went missing from the pub, leading the police to think Eva's attack was connected.
Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) was then named as the main suspect, leaving Sam ridden with guilt. Eva eventually remembered it was Sam who pushed her and Sam confessed the truth to his dad Nick and other family members.
Fans Predict an Affair
But now, fans are certain that as Eva continues to deal with the attack, she could end up cheating on partner Ben. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, viewers suspect she could have an affair with Carl.
“I can see Carl and Eva having a thing soon,” said one person. Someone else added: “Yesss, can Carl and Eva get together plsss.” A third chimed in: “Wouldn’t surprise me.” Another person penned: “Oh not another affair please!?”
