Armed forces champion, Cllr Declan Henry, said: “Many of us will have friends and family who have served or are currently serving in our Armed Forces, and will see the sacrifices they make in service, not just on the battlefield but at home as well. Armed Forces Week is an integral way in which we can demonstrate our thanks for their commitment to protecting our peace and security.”
