Kelvin and Liz Fletcher have confirmed that filming for series six of Fletchers' Family Farm is now underway. The couple shared the update on the official Fletchers' Farm Instagram account, posting: "Farm days are the best days. We are straight into filming series 6! Here we go…."
Fans Share Excitement Over New Series
Fans of the ITV series expressed their enthusiasm in the comments, with one writing: "Can't wait! So heartfelt & inspiring" and another adding: "So looking forward to seeing the adventures of you and your lovely family".
The show, which has been airing since 2023, follows the family's farming exploits and family life on their 120-acre plot in the village of Wincle, near Macclesfield, which they bought in 2021.
A Journey from Emmerdale to Farming
Kelvin Fletcher first appeared on screen in 1996 as Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, a role he played for two decades before leaving in 2016. His character's storylines included a relationship with Katie Addyman and a feud with Robert Sugden, which ended when Robert helped him flee the village on the day of his trial.
Before Fletchers' Family Farm, the couple documented the farm's setup for the BBC series Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure, which aired in January 2022.
Commissioned for Two More Series
ITV has commissioned two more runs of the show following its success, which has seen 6.3 million streams on ITVX so far this year. The daytime airing is ITV's best-performing title in the 11.30am to 12.30pm Sunday slot so far this decade, and the new commissions will see the series continue into 2027.
Kelvin and Liz said in a statement: "We're delighted to be returning for series five and six. What started as a simple desire to share our family's journey has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. We'd like to thank ITV for their continued support and belief in the series and Daisybeck Studios for creating such a true account of our lives. As we enter this next chapter we're also proud that Fletcher Studios will be joining Daisybeck as a co-production partner on the series. It's an exciting step for us creatively."
Fletchers' Family Farm is currently available to watch on ITVX and STV Player.
