Jeremy Clarkson has hinted at what could be one of the most jaw-dropping moments yet on Clarkson's Farm. He recently confessed that a scene filmed for series six of the show "truly horrified" him.
The presenter made the admission on X/Twitter after a fan made light of some of the more queasy scenes already featured in the latest series of the Amazon Prime series. The viewer posted: "Hi @JeremyClarkson. I'm a teacher and I decided to sit and watch all the new episodes of Clarkson's Farm while enjoying a leisurely lunch while on holiday. So far I've eaten watching a sheep autopsy and a very blocked toilet in the pub. Is the next episode any safer?".
Clarkson's response suggested the answer is 'definitely not': "We filmed a scene yesterday that truly horrified me," he posted. "It's real farming and all my life, I just didn't know. The animal btw [by the way] loved it."
Clarkson's cryptic tease sparks curiosity
The 65-year-old didn't go into detail about exactly what happened, leaving viewers to wonder what farming procedure could have left the host so stunned. He assured fans that "the animal btw loved it," sparking further intrigue as many questioned whether the scene was an obscure veterinary procedure or something else entirely. One person responded: "Discounting what we HAVE already seen, the mind boggles..."
Another person commented: "Imagine the bits that he wasn't allowed to show us, maybe best not to eat while doing so."
Health update and future of the show
The comment follows the conclusion of series five, when Clarkson told Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive type of prostate cancer, leaving him uncertain about whether he could carry on with the Amazon Prime programme. He told viewers: "I'm going to be here for a little while. I don't know what's going to happen.
