On Thursday's BBC Breakfast (July 23), Naga Munchetty informed viewers that an unexpected creature had 'broken into the studio'. Speaking with co-star Paul Ruddick, who had been explaining charges on airport drop-off zones, Munchetty suggested it was giving a Jurassic Park vibe.
Dinosaurs in Salford Quay
Naga added: 'There are dinosaurs causing havoc here in Salford Quay.' Peter confessed he wasn't feeling the film's vibe without the iconic soundtrack but couldn't resist a playful dig at his colleagues, remarking: 'I mean, dinosaurs in the building have always been a problem.' Naga burst out laughing before warning it could get him in trouble.
She told viewers: 'We're feeling pretty ok, they're in the Blue Peter garden. There are fears that one has managed to break into our building. We are trying to bring the situation under control. We can hopefully bring you more about their resurrection, which is what we want to talk to you about today.'
Dinosaur World Live Returns
Charlie Stayt gave context, sharing that the award-winning theatre production Dinosaur World Live is returning after international success. He added: 'Some of their dinosaurs are with us this morning.' Naga continued: 'We are going to be joined by some more roaming around Salford Quay, but at the moment, we're trying to sort out this environment with the babies in the room.'
Viewers saw two dinosaur puppets in the studio as handlers made them move. Charlie highlighted that the ones in the studio were smaller, while bigger ones would be outside. He shared: 'It's like watching a version of animation, isn't it?' Naga added: 'Yeah! Ok, we've had enough. I think the babies are going to go for a walk. We'll see you later, guys.'
