Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb has been announced as the 12th celebrity to join this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up. The soap star, who has played Mackenzie “Mack” Boyd in the ITV soap for six years, will trade the Dales for the BBC One dancefloor when the show returns in the autumn.
Dream come true
Discussing his upcoming Strictly stint, Lawrence said: “I don't know who’s more excited about this, me or my Mother. I can't quite believe that I am going to be getting my dancing shoes on this September on one of my favourite shows of all time!
“It's a dream come true, and I can't wait to bring my all to ballroom. Wish me luck, and any advice is very welcome - trust me I’ll need it!”
