Emmerdale spoilers reveal Belle Dingle will struggle to cope after learning her abusive ex-husband Tom King is set to be released from prison. Meanwhile, Thea is determined to bring Kim Tate down as the secret over baby Tate's adoption threatens to unravel.
Last week, a high-stakes poker game went awry when the 100k winnings went missing. With the money missing, it's stressful for all those concerned and soon Aaron and Sarah head off to interrogate the obvious suspects.
In a bombshell reveal, Emmerdale confirmed that baby Tate was living in a cottage with Graham Foster after Joe Tate instructed a private adoption. Kim has been secretly helping baby and Graham as she hides the truth from Joe and those around her to protect the baby from his father's wishes.
Bad news for Belle Dingle
Liam's taken Cain for a fishing trip before Cain starts radiotherapy. At the Dingles, breakfast is shattered when Belle's Victim Liaison Officer turns up to tell her Tom will be released from prison soon. They reassure her that Tom will be subject to strict licence conditions when he's released. Kammy is worried for her.
When Charles overhears Belle telling Nicola he can't help but remark how not only has Tom been speaking to him in his role as a prison chaplain, but that Tom has accepted culpability and wants to seek Belle's forgiveness. Belle hates the fact Tom's already back in her head before he's even been released. With her mind racing Belle decides to confront the issue by visiting him. When Cain returns from his fishing trip, he can immediately sense something's wrong.
Soon, Belle agrees to accept Cain and Kammy's advice not to visit Tom, but spirals into thinking he'll just seek her out when he's released. Before long Belle is grateful to talk to Rhona who has lived experience and helps Belle try and take control of her feelings.
Belle seems more optimistic after her chat, but privately, Rhona warns Cain that if Tom does come back, he could be more dangerous than ever. Kammy wants to protect Belle and makes a sudden declaration of love to Belle who runs off unable to cope or respond.
Thea threatens to unravel Kim Tate's secret
Kim is still worried about Joe and still guarding the secret: Graham has the baby and is looking after him in an out-of-the-way cottage until they think Joe is ready to have him home. As Lydia shares her worries with Kim she's thrilled by Kim's support thinking Kim has kindly offered Samson a job on his release.
The next day, Lydia is hurt to discover they were talking at cross wires and there is no promise of a job. As they chat and discuss the baby having been adopted, Thea overhears and jumps to the wrong conclusion about the fate of Baby Tate. Before long Serena's increasingly worried about Thea's obsession with bringing down Kim, urging her not to do anything she'll end up regretting.
Later, Kim's firmly on the back foot when a Social Worker turns up demanding to see Joe and his baby as a result of a report of an illegal adoption.
Thea won't be deterred in her mission to bring down Kim and keeps a watch on her after successfully getting access to her phone. She downloads some messages before setting off to search.. but will she find something?
