Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has been flooded with messages as she marked a personal milestone just days before fans see her return to the BBC One dance contest.
The professional dancer is set to appear in the 2026 series of Strictly, which begins this Saturday (September 19) with the pre-recorded launch show, following the birth of her first child.
Six months of parenthood
Dianne announced her pregnancy in September last year, weeks before the 2025 series. She welcomed her son, Bowden, in March with her partner, YouTube star Joe Sugg, whom she met on the show in 2018.
Months after her baby boy's arrival, it was confirmed that Dianne would return to Strictly for her 10th year alongside fellow dancers Aljaz Skorjanec, Amy Dowden, Alexis Warr, Carlos Gu, Jowita Przystal, Julian Caillon, Kai Widdrington, Katya Jones, Lauren Oakley, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin and Vito Coppola.
The group will also be joined by five new professional dancers - Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi, Maddie Ingoldsby and Mark Karmalita - after previous pros Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk, Michelle Tsiakkas and Gorka Marquez all left the show ahead of the 2026 series.
Fans react to milestone post
Ahead of her Strictly return, Dianne celebrated six months since she and Joe became first-time parents with the arrival of their son, who is nicknamed 'Bowie' by his loved ones.
Sharing a picture of the pair wearing matching beanie hats as they looked at one another, the Australian star wrote: "6 months of loving you [heart emoji] a lifetime to go."
She was quickly flooded with messages. @hayleykpt said: "6 months already omg!! he is such a double of you!! so so cute. You and Joe were MADE to be parents. Thank you for sharing this journey with us." @dianne_joe_suggwell wrote: "Happy 6 months Bowden! Little cutie."
