Max Verstappen is taking to Silverstone to attempt one of the most unique challenges faced by a Formula 1 driver. The four-time world champion is expected to try to overtake 100 drivers in just 30 laps at the iconic British Grand Prix circuit.
Karting roots and record career
Verstappen, 28, started karting at the age of four and was taking part in competition when he was seven, which allowed him to progress through and become an F1 driver for more than a decade. In that time, the Dutchman has won 71 Grands Prix, four Drivers' Championships and been on the podium 131 times.
But he is set to roll back the years and test his go-karting skills once more against drivers from the world of social media, TV and sport, with the race taking place on Wednesday.
