The Legend of Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 console is back in stock for pre-order at UK retailer Currys, priced at £434. The device, celebrating the franchise's 40th anniversary, sold out on the official Nintendo Store and is now available at third-party retailers ahead of its October 29 release date.
Console Design and Contents
The bundle includes a Switch 2 console, Joy-Cons, dock and all necessary cables. The standout feature is the black and gold-coloured dock with a Triforce symbol on the front, while additional patterns and symbols inspired by the Zelda series decorate the back of the system and inside the dock.
The package also comes with green and gold Joy-Con 2 controllers, including special Zelda-themed straps. However, the console does not include a copy of Ocarina of Time Remake, which must be purchased separately.
Ocarina of Time Remake Details
Launching in November, the new Ocarina of Time release is a faithful recreation of the N64 classic. It features massively improved graphics and quality-of-life upgrades such as a fully controllable camera and separate action buttons.
The remake also includes bonus features, such as compatibility with the Zelda Notes app. One aspect that has divided fans is the inclusion of authentic loading screens, which pays homage to the original.
