BBC viewers were delighted with two specials honouring the career of singer-songwriter Paul Heaton, taking to social media to praise the tribute.
Career Highlights
Heaton began his music career in the 1980s with The Housemartins, which also featured DJ Fatboy Slim. After the band ended, he formed The Beautiful South. He later pursued a solo career and collaborated with Jacqui Abbott and Rianne Downey.
The BBC aired two specials: a compilation of his performances and a live concert from his 2025 show at Sheffield's Bramall Lane.
