Sebastian Croft, 24, is currently competing in the Celebrity Traitors castle alongside a stellar cast of household names. While the young actor and singer may be relatively unknown to many BBC viewers, a large proportion of the audience will recognise his work.
Croft is the second youngest contestant in Ardross Castle, after fellow actor Bella Ramsey, 23. He is a big fan of the show and could be a strong player.
Who is Sebastian Croft?
Croft is a British actor and singer, likely best known for Netflix's coming-of-age drama Heartstopper. Born in Oxford in December 2001, he began acting as a child in stage productions before making his TV debut in 2016.
His screen credits include BBC drama Dope Girls and the 2019 film Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans, for which he received a Bafta Children's Award nomination. In Heartstopper, he played Ben Hope, a closeted schoolboy in a secret relationship with Charlie Spring (Joe Locke).
Croft has also had West End roles, including in Sam Mendes' production of Oliver! and as Gavroche in Les Misérables. In 2025, he began releasing music independently, debuting with the single Tokyo, based on a difficult break-up.
Charity work and Game of Thrones role
Croft identifies as queer and has spoken about the importance of representation for young people. In 2022, he launched Queer Was Always Here with fellow actor Connor Jessup, an initiative celebrating LGBTQ+ lives, art and history.
Long before Heartstopper, Croft appeared in the sixth season of Game of Thrones, playing a young Eddard 'Ned' Stark in flashback scenes. He is now in the Traitors castle with Bella Ramsey, who also starred in season six as Lyanna Mormont.
Celebrity Traitors airs on Thursday and Friday nights at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
