Victoria Beckham's Cocoa Mascara Hailed 'Best I've Used'

Victoria Beckham Beauty has expanded its popular Vast Lash Mascara line with a new shade, Cocoa, a deep brown designed to offer a softer look on mature lashes. The product has received widespread acclaim from older shoppers, with many calling it the best mascara they have ever used.

New Shade for Mature Lashes

The Vast Lash Mascara in Cocoa retails at £33 and is intended to complement the Satin Kajal Liner in the same shade, which is reportedly a favorite of Beckham herself. The liner is available in 20 shades across matte, jewel, and shimmer finishes, also priced at £33.

To celebrate the launch, Victoria Beckham Beauty is offering a complimentary velvet pochette to all new customers. Those who spend £50 or more will also receive a '97 Terry Zip Bag at no extra cost.

Product Features and Performance

The Vast Lash Mascara is a volumising mascara designed to create dramatic impact and lift in a single stroke. It delivers an intensely defined look while conditioning lashes. The formula is smudge-proof, flake-proof, sweat-proof, and humidity-proof, with a wear time of up to 12 hours. The curved applicator features bristles that coat each lash evenly from base to tip, ensuring a full, lifted result.

The mascara is enriched with clean, nourishing ingredients, including Tahitian sea micro algae to strengthen lashes, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) to moisturise, niacinamide (vitamin B3) to support keratin production, and vitamin E to condition and nourish. Users may notice thicker, fuller lashes after just two weeks of use.

Customer Reviews and Ratings

The Vast Lash Mascara holds an overall rating of 4.3 out of five stars from over 4,300 reviews. One delighted customer commented: "Love it, no clumps. Best mascara I have used in 50 years. Thanks." Another shared: "Easy to apply but need to layer/ put on different coats. Bought this after cataract surgery: I have age related dry eyes but found this easy to apply and good to wash off and tolerate after not being able to wear makeup for numerous years."

A third reviewer wrote: "I think I've tried every mascara on the market from cheap to very expensive. Since reaching my 60s, I've found all mascaras, regardless of price, just don't stay put. They flake and smudge to the point I'd begun to not bother. I'd read the hype about Victoria Beckham Beauty mascara but wasn't expecting much. However, it's the best mascara I've used in years."

Not all reviews were positive. One customer awarded three stars, noting: "Not very thick. Beautiful packaging but average product." Another three-star review mentioned: "A bit disappointed with this product. Too much product came out on brush leaving me to wipe the brush before I could apply it to my eyelashes."

Nevertheless, an eighty-year-old shopper gave a five-star review, stating: "I'm an eighty year-old and have suddenly got very thick long eyelashes." Another customer said: "Outstanding. Beautiful product. Lengthens lashes and I'm old - 56."
