Stacey Solomon has shared pictures of her sons' upstairs bathroom in her new £2million Essex mansion, revealing a bold tangerine orange design that she admits some fans might not like.
The Sort Your Life Out presenter, who recently moved her family from Pickle Cottage, chose to keep and revamp the existing orange loo, basin and tub in one of the bathrooms of the sprawling property.
A bold colour choice
Solomon added orange and white striped walls, brushed-bronze fixtures and contemporary shower fittings to complete the look, finishing it off with an orange and white striped bath mat bearing the phrase "Get Naked".
Posting the transformation on Instagram, she warned followers that some might "hate" the design. She wrote: "The Orange Bathroom. I'm ready for people to hate this but honestly I love it so so much."
Falling in love with the tangerine set
She explained: "As soon as I saw this tangerine bath set I fell in love with it. I just couldn't throw it away it was so pretty. I have plenty of rooms to be neutral in but this is the boys upstairs bathroom and they LOVE this colour so I got to have so much fun in here bringing colour back to life."
Solomon added: "This room now just makes me happy as soon as I open the door. It's so bright and cheerful." She noted there were still "a few snagging bits to do" and that she might add "some more bits and bobs", concluding: "One room done. Wahoo."
Fans react to the vibrant space
Despite bracing for criticism, many fans praised the bold hue. One commented: "To be honest it's nice to see something with a bit of bloody personality as opposed to neutrals and greys that have engulfed the past decade!"
Another said: "I absolutely love this! ! It reminds me of my Sindy playhouse furniture," while singer Jake Quickenden posted: "Like it me.... Pooing in a vibe". Solomon's sister Jemma added: "So fun! A new lease of life."
