Reuben Owen Expresses Willingness to Move to Anty John's
Reuben Owen, a familiar face from the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm, has candidly discussed his future at Ravenseat Farm, expressing that the family's newly acquired property, Anty John's, is one of the few places he would happily call home. The revelation came during a repeat episode of the spin-off series Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, which aired on Sunday.
Spin-Off Series Details Renovation Challenge
The spin-off follows the Owen family as they undertake the challenging renovation of a remote, rundown farmhouse deep in the Yorkshire Dales. The project is hampered by fierce weather and the isolated location, making it one of Britain's most difficult building projects. The show offers viewers an in-depth look at the family's future plans.
Amanda Owen's Vision for the Property
Amanda Owen, the shepherdess and mother of nine, has been open about her vision for Anty John's. She described the acquisition as a dream come true, noting that the property is a little farm cottage with a barn attached, sitting on just under 40 acres. For the large Owen family, the additional space is a necessity rather than a luxury.
According to Amanda, the purchase is for the future, as all the children need a place they can call home. Clive Owen, her ex-husband, echoed this sentiment, acknowledging that the new property will come in handy given the size of the family. He admitted that they have not yet decided who will live there, but someone will eventually.
Reuben's Personal Connection to Anty John's
Reuben Owen, one of the older children, spoke directly to the camera, sharing his personal feelings about the property. He stated that aside from Ravenseat, Anty John's is probably the only place he would consider living happily. This sense of belonging appears to resonate deeply with him.
The series Our Farm Next Door is available to watch on Channel 4.
