Prince Harry mindful of Princess Kate's India trip as he plans UK activities
Harry mindful of Kate's India trip while planning UK activities

Prince Harry is reportedly being mindful of the Princess of Wales' upcoming travel plans as he schedules his own activities in the UK, according to a source cited by The Times.

The Duke of Sussex has been back in Britain since the end of August, but there have been no sightings of him reuniting with members of the Royal Family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales. Despite the strained relationship, a source claims Harry still considers his family members.

Harry's Consideration for the Waleses

The source told The Times: "Obviously with the King going to CHOGM [Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting] and the Prince and Princess of Wales going to India, he knows about those things and he is obviously mindful of that as he's planning his own activities as well."

King Charles is currently away on his nine-day autumn tour in the Caribbean, which will end with the CHOGM. The Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony is also taking place in Mumbai this month, with only William confirmed to attend so far.

Possible Olive Branch

The source suggests Harry believes Kate is accompanying her husband to India. By factoring that possible trip into his own schedule, it shows a level of consideration for both her and his brother.

Harry postponing or holding off from public appearances would allow the focus to remain on the Waleses and the awards, which could be interpreted as an olive branch to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Recent Clashes with Royal Events

This follows several of Harry's projects, including his recent GQ interview, clashing with important moments for the working royals. The interview was released on the same day as the ceremonial welcome and State Banquet for the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.

A Sussex spokesperson has stated it was GQ's decision to publish then. The Duke also claimed in a recent interview that he wants to "make it work" with his family.
