Country singer Jelly Roll has urged Donald Trump to lose weight so he can see his privates again, during a guest hosting stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live in the US this week.
Jelly Roll, real name Jason Bradley DeFord, recently lost more than 19 stone after adopting a strict high-protein, nutrient-dense diet alongside daily walking and structured workouts. He suggested the US president should do the same.
'From one fat pig to another'
Speaking on the show, Jelly Roll said: "Well Mr. President, from one fat pig to another, take it from me that physical fitness is very important. And trust me, you’ll be happy to see your penis again."
He also referenced reports from the Washington Post that doctors were worried about the president's weight. Jelly Roll said: "After his last physical we found out Trump gained 14 pounds, which means he’s now tipping the scales of almost 240."
'I've lost an entire Donald Trump'
Pointing out he has lost 300 pounds himself, Jelly Roll added: "That means I’ve lost an entire Donald Trump. And let’s be honest, based on his approval rating it seems like most of the country wants to do the same thing."
Jelly Roll, who won Grammy awards earlier this year, met Trump before – the two were seen shaking hands and smiling together at a UFC event in 2024.
Criticism of Trump's attitude
Despite that meeting, the singer criticised Trump's attitude, asking the TV audience not to laugh at the president's appearance "because we know that he would never do that to other people." He then played clips of Trump making fun of people based on their size and appearance.
During his monologue, Jelly Roll also discussed Trump's visit to the IndyCar race in Washington, D.C., joking: "The president seemed to enjoy the IndyCar race, which was a real switch-up for him because normally he only likes his own race." He added: "Trump also drove around the track in his motorcade doing what they call the ‘lap of honour.’ Which sounds like a loyalty program at a strip club."
The gags are likely to upset Trump, who has previously tried to get the show pulled and earlier this year wanted Jimmy Kimmel fired over his constant criticism and public mockery.
