S Club's Hannah Spearritt Shows Off New Life in Costa Rica
Hannah Spearritt's New Life in Costa Rica Revealed

Former S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt is embracing her fresh beginning after leaving the UK to start a new life in Costa Rica. The singer moved to South America last year and hasn't looked back since deciding to live off-grid.

Hannah and her long-term partner Adam Thomas moved with their two daughters, Téa, seven, and Tora, five, and clearly aren't regretting their decision. The 45-year-old singer hopes to 'build the dream' by living off the land and has shared her new life with her followers on Instagram.

A Glimpse Into Her New Lifestyle

Her family seem happier than ever, with the 90s singing star often sharing sweet photographs of their new lifestyle and what they get up to. She has been bathing in volcanic hot springs and taking in some incredible mountain views in recent weeks, and on Monday shared a clip of herself and her children spending some time together in the garden.

It is certainly a contrast to her old life, and in the caption, Hannah wrote: "Just chilling, nothing glamorous, no red carpets, but these moments for me are what lights up my inner fire." She also told her followers about 6am balcony discos with her daughters.

Recovering From a Challenging Year

It's a far cry from the glamorous career she left behind, and she said quitting the UK for a fresh start has "really helped her recover from a challenging year." Hannah is said to have been inspired to set up the cafe Earth & Fire in Twickenham in 2022 after visiting Costa Rica four years prior. The business, however, reportedly didn't get off the ground and the property was later put up for sale.

It was said to be the "latest in a sequence of setbacks" prior to her relocating abroad. Hannah is said to have faced homelessness in 2023 and she dropped out of S Club's reunion tour that same year. Her exit from the tour came after bandmate Paul Cattermole's death weeks prior, and Hannah said that her health contributed to the decision.

Sharing the Beauty of Her New Home

She previously gave a glimpse at the landscape of the community where the family have been living after arriving. She shared footage of a stream within a woodland and suggested that it was her "garden" in the accompanying caption. Alongside the video, she wrote: "That'll do for a garden…!!! The camera cannot even capture the sheer wonder of this place, the beauty leaves you speechless… And it's even spring fed… so pure, you can swim in it… or drink it!"

Then, Hannah shared footage of her kids swimming in a lake before showing a separate clip of rainfall. She said: "All in the same day! #rainseason is starting ... but at least we can still swim in the river in 90 degrees before it rains! Truly spectacular country."
