Actor Taheen Modak Backs SafeCall Campaign for Missing Children

Actor Taheen Modak has thrown his support behind The Independent's SafeCall campaign, which aims to raise £165,000 to assist the 70,000 children who go missing each year in the UK.

The campaign is run in partnership with the charity Missing People, and the funds will be used to launch a new service designed to be a lifeline for children in crisis. SafeCall has been co-designed and piloted by young people themselves, offering support, safety, and connection.

Modak, known for his role in Two Weeks To Live, joined The Independent to give missing children 'the choice to make a better next step to take a path towards health and safety.'
