Kim Kardashian has shared an emotional video documenting her journey to the California Bar Exam, revealing she failed the test. The 45-year-old SKIMS founder posted the clip on Instagram on Sunday, showing the final two weeks of studying, taking the exam in July, and her tearful reaction upon learning she did not pass.
Kardashian began her legal studies in 2018 and passed the 'baby bar' in 2021 after four attempts. She later passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam in March 2025 and completed law school two months later. Despite her efforts, she failed the California Bar Exam, a setback she described as disappointing but not the end of her journey.
In her Instagram post, Kardashian wrote: 'I've shared so much of this journey with you... On November 7th, I found out I didn't pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn't the end.' She added that she will continue studying and showing up for herself until she succeeds.
The video comes during the press tour for Hulu's series 'All's Fair', in which Kardashian plays a successful divorce lawyer. The show has received critical criticism, but Kardashian remains focused on her legal aspirations.
