Coronation Street Ross' downfall 'sealed' as two characters rumble Cassie lie

Coronation Street villain Ross Wilkes could see his sinister secrets exposed as two characters grow suspicious over Cassie Plummer's sudden disappearance.

Ross's lies start to unravel

Ross, Tyrone Dobbs' father, has been exposed as a villain, with a mystery surrounding Cassie's exit. Cassie had tried to get rid of Ross after his arrival, revealing he paid for sex with her when she was underage. However, Tyrone still wanted to get to know his father, and Cassie's attempts to prove Ross untrustworthy backfired.

Ross even set her up after she tried to drug him, with Tracy Barlow caught in the crossfire. This led to Cassie being dumped by Steve McDonald and kicked out by Tyrone, sparking her exit.

Steve and Fiz on the case

New scenes show Steve and Fiz Brown questioning Ross about Cassie's departure. Ross was spotted giving Cassie a lift, and Steve asked where he took her. Ross played ignorant but soon realised he'd been caught out, coming up with a tale about dropping her off at a train station.

Fiz is both concerned and suspicious, knowing Ross wants to move nearby to be close to Tyrone. She's convinced something isn't right about Cassie going AWOL, and does some snooping.

With no contact from Cassie, Fiz is worried - but will she figure out what Ross has done?
