Family Tribute and Fundraiser

Aaron's family described him as a 'caring and dedicated son' who was proud to volunteer at the World Cup. Kim Hill, who organized the GoFundMe, stated: 'Aaron Avery was walking home from SoFi Stadium after volunteering to help with the FIFA Soccer World Cup 2026. Tragically, he was struck by a driver under the influence who was speeding, leaving Aaron in critical condition with multiple injuries.' The fundraiser, with a target of £15,155 ($20,000), has raised over £6,800 ($9,000) in three days to cover end-of-life expenses, medical bills, and funeral costs.
