Woman Admits Filming Sex Acts with Dog, Faces 5 Years

Cassie Lynn Snay, 27, has pleaded guilty to two counts of bestiality after admitting she filmed herself performing sex acts on her own dog. The charges carry a potential prison sentence of up to five years.

Investigation Stemmed from Sex Offender Arrest

Police launched an investigation into Trey Mettler, Snay's on-again, off-again boyfriend, for failing to register as a sex offender related to a child molesting conviction. During a traffic stop, officers arrested Mettler and confiscated a phone found in his car.

On the phone, police discovered 13 photos and videos depicting dogs engaged in sex acts with a female. According to court records, Snay was identifiable in all but one of those images.

Snay's Admission and Plea Deal

Snay admitted to committing the acts and sending the media to Mettler. She stated the recordings were made at a property in Allen County or at a motel on Coliseum Boulevard, court records show. She told police the dogs in the media were hers but that the sex acts involved only one dog.

Snay pleaded guilty on Monday as part of a plea deal. The agreement includes a one-year concurrent executed sentence, followed by adult probation. If deemed eligible, she will serve her sentence in Allen County Community Corrections.

Pre-Trial Release Violations and Sentencing

Snay's bond was revoked in February after she violated a condition of her pre-trial release, according to 21Alive. She is prohibited from having contact with the dogs and must complete a counseling program for sexual perpetrators.

Her sentencing is scheduled for August 4.
