A 14-year-old girl who died in a tragic accident in the water, which also killed her mother and father, has been remembered as a 'sweet and well-liked girl' by her school.

Sara El-Khawas died alongside her parents Hassan El-Khawas, 55, and Zeina Alayn, 37, on Tuesday afternoon in Shoreham-by-Sea. A young girl from the same family remains in hospital in a critical condition after being rescued from the sea, police said.

Emergency Response and Family Details

Police, paramedics, coastguard crews and a lifeboat attended the scene where four people were recovered from the water. The family is believed to have travelled from their home in London to visit Shoreham, entering the water from the beach near Shoreham Fort at around 2pm before getting into difficulty.
