Third Charged in Paisley Attempted Murder

Police have arrested and charged a third person in connection with an attempted murder in Paisley. A 21-year-old man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, July 17, following the alleged violent attack on George Street.

Victim Seriously Injured

The incident took place at around 8pm on Monday, July 13, in the Renfrewshire town. A 53-year-old man was left seriously injured and was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as "serious but stable."

Third Arrest Made

The 21-year-old man is the third person to be arrested in connection with the incident. An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were previously charged and appeared in court on Wednesday, July 15. Police have not released further details about the suspects or the motive behind the attack.
